大紅柑的「果頭」真係好大隻。近年情況特殊，樹上熟的梅江柑更少。其實新會大紅柑果味濃郁，酸甜適中。只是市面上大家接觸青柑、青紅柑較多。還有品質好的新會東甲村、梅江村新鮮果皮價格成本已經過千元，購買陳皮類產品價格太便宜的就要留意啦！
